Well, this was unexpected!
I just learned that Elemental Work has been nominated in not one, but TWO categories in this year's Best of the 207 awards!
Best Massage and Best Alternative Therapies!
I'm a little floored, honestly.
I've spent the past several years continuing to learn, refining my approach to bodywork, and building a practice that reflects what I believe good therapeutic care can be. Knowing that people in this community thought enough of that work to nominate Elemental Work in two categories means an awful lot to me.
Whether you've been coming to see me for years, recently found your way to my table, or have recommended my work to someone you care about, you've helped make this little practice what it is.

Public voting opens Wednesday, October 28, and runs through Wednesday, November 11.

Cast your vote in either or both categories!

One of the first things I did when I received my nomination was head over to the website to nominate a whole bunch of my own local favorites. So while you're on the site, take a look around and show some love to the businesses that make Portland such a wonderful place to live and work.
Times are tough for a lot of small businesses, and not every show of support has to involve spending money. Sometimes taking a moment to recognize someone's work can mean an awful lot. I know it did for me.
Of course, there's no obligation to vote for Elemental Work. Just knowing that someone took the time to nominate my work is already pretty wonderful.
